I used an AI tool (seocopywriting.ai) for the for some of this website’s copy. It took a fair bit of practice, but I could at a certain point see its value. Through doing it myself, and through some trial and error, I have come to understand that with AI, what you put in is what you get out.
To use Artificial Intelligence with your SEO copy is a good way to bulk up your pages, It did save me time. I did find out that there is a “set up” that should be considered for this approach. You should do your IA (Information Architecture) and your keyword research (segmented by intent) to get the most out of your SEO Artificial Intelligence tool of choice.
It is fair based on my experience to say that the tool without a human SEO working with it will do a below average job.

Once it has analysed your text, it provides recommendations on how to improve it. I found it helped me on two fronts provided I adhered to my IA and KWR (head, body and longtail). Additionally it also helped me structure my parent and child pages. I followed this process:
- Creating a template to structure my onsite copy (including headers)
- Running complex content through to simplify my copy, and structure it better for Search Engines
- Using the tool to assist with meta data and snippet type copy
- Using the tools assist in structure and syntax
